Alaska Cruise/Tour 2009 by Bill/Diane and Jim/Elaine
Bill and Diane flew to Fairbanks, for four days
of experiencing Alaska by land, then a train to Anchorage, a bus to Seward and we boarded Holland America's
Ms. Statendam. This is a 1,260 passenger cruise liner, commissioned in 1993. We met up with Jim and Elaine
Williams, already on the ship, having signed up for two back-to-back seven day Alaska cruises. We all cruised south
through Alaska, ending at Vancouver, Canada. On the way we visited College Fjord, Glacier Bay, Haines, Juneau and
Ketchikan, Alaska.
This was a fascinating trip, highlighted by our time touring Denali National Park. View
each stop we made by clicking on dropdown menus. Click Home to return to our Cruise Home Page.
